Fahrenheit Seven Val Thorens, Val Thorens
About the Hotel
Fahrenheit Seven Val Thorens is a 4-star hotel strategically located at an altitude of 2 meters in the heart of the Three Valleys ski resort. Known as the first hotel built in the resort in 1973, it features a stylish retro vibe designed by Véronique. The hotel offers a ski-in, ski-out location adjacent to the main bubble lift, providing access to Val Thorens' reliable snow slopes. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Belleville mountains and the expansive ski area from various areas of the hotel.
Location
The hotel is conveniently situated at the foot of the Val Thorens slopes, allowing for direct access to skiing and snowboarding. It is only a short walk from the town center and near the Peclet bubble and ski school meeting points. For those traveling by car, mandatory parking is available outside the resort, with the nearest option ('P0' parking) located close to the hotel. A direct ski train is an alternative for guests coming from Moutiers, approximately 45 minutes away.
Rooms
Rooms at Fahrenheit Seven are stylish and designed for casual luxury, featuring vintage elements throughout. Each guest room is equipped with modern amenities, including a TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a well-designed bathroom. The double and triple rooms include comfortable furnishings, while family rooms are available with options for ski slope or village views. Geometric patterned carpets and black-and-white ski scene imagery enhance the retro feel in the hallways and rooms alike.
Eat & Drink
La Rotisserie restaurant offers a diverse menu blending traditional French cuisine with contemporary twists, eschewing common Alpine dishes like fondue. Guests can unwind at La Cheminée, a quieter space with cozy seating and a fireplace. The lively main bar, Le Zinc, hosts a DJ three times a week and features monthly parties, while Le Bungalow on the seventh floor serves fast food with excellent mountain views. Meals can be enjoyed outdoors on the south-facing terrace during favorable weather.
Leisure & Business
Fahrenheit Seven includes a large ski room furnished with modern ski lockers, a bar, and comfortable sofas, making it easy for guests to prepare for a day on the slopes. The hotel also features a well-equipped spa area with a hammam and sauna, where guests can enjoy relaxation after skiing. Various recreational options are available for those not skiing, ensuring all guests have leisure opportunities during their stay.

Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers breathtaking views and excellent skiing right from the doorstep. The rooms are well-supplied and cozy, but some might find them small for a longer stay. The service is friendly with a touch of humor, though a bit insecure at times. The location is stunning with on-trend bars nearby, but the room lighting could be improved. Overall, a great spot with a few minor areas to consider.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic overall. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and I liked that they were well-appointed and a good size for a ski resort. Although the staff could be a bit rude at times, they were efficient, and I found the bed comfy with plenty of storage. I also appreciated the quirky touch in the room.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, with great views of the slopes. The staff was incredibly engaging, friendly, and professional, ensuring our stay was perfect. The location was ideal for ski enthusiasts, with easy access to the slopes. However, the dining options were limited, and some areas lacked adequate lighting.
